Welcome to Summer 2024!

We are so excited to offer 8 weeks of our award-winning summer camps during the summer of 2024! Please see our camp guides below to learn more about the camps we offer and how to register.

Our camps are organized by age and offer a variety of activities which promote 21st century skills to help youth grow academically and socially, all while having fun in a safe environment. From June 12th to August 2nd, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM, youth who are currently enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 8th for the 2023-2024 school year may participate in a variety of camps designed to thrill, challenge, and inspire. Activities include cooking, rock climbing, fashion design, basketball, jewelry making, soccer, and so much more!

Summer Camp 2024 takes place from June 12th to August 2nd, 2024.

Our mission is to provide positive opportunities for our community’s youth and teens, especially those who need us most, to learn, succeed, and discover their full potential.

Camps are available for youth who are currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 8th grade for the 2023-2024 school year.

All camps run 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday unless otherwise stated.

We will provide more information about how to register once registration opens on April 1st.

Each camp fee will vary based on the week. Please see our Summer Camp Guide for the most up-to-date information regarding camp fees. 

Scholarship applications will be accepted once registration opens on April 1st.  

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley believes that no child should be denied participation due to financial reasons. The Club offers scholarships, sliding scale and payment plans to individuals and families whose financial circumstances would prevent their children from participating in our programs. Elementary School Summer Camps will be located at Maxwell Clubhouse; 100 W Verano Ave., Sonoma, CA 95476.

Middle School Camps will be located at El Verano Elementary School; 18606 Riverside Dr., Sonoma, CA 95476.

Campers will be spending their time both indoors and outdoors. It is important that they come to camp prepared for an active day and time in the sun. Please apply sunscreen before arriving to camp.  

  • Dress in comfortable clothing that can get dirty and wear closed-toe shoes (flip flops are NOT ALLOWED) 
  • An extra set of clothes.  
  • OPTIONAL: Bring a sun hat and glasses if needed for being in the sun.  
  • A reusable water bottle and backpack to store personal items.  
  • Snacks.  

PLEASE BE SURE TO WRITE YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON ALL OF THE ABOVE ITEMS.

Please do not send personal items such as special toys, electronics, phones, or other valuables that can get lost.

In partnership with the Redwood Empire Food Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley works hard to ensure that every child receives the nourishment they need to succeed.  

  • We provide a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack every day of camp.  
  • If you prefer, or if your child has special needs, your child is welcome to bring their own nutritious lunch/snack.  
  • HEALTHY HABITS – We ask that you please support us in promoting healthy habits and pack only nutritious food for your camper.  
  • We do not refrigerate or heat up lunches. Please provide a lunch that is ready to eat. 

Please note, Middle School Camp will only provide lunch.

If your child needs to take medication during camp, please fill out a Request & Authorization for Administration of Medication.  

A Request & Authorization for Administration of Medication needs to be signed by a parent and child’s physician AND a physician must be on file. This form is available at the Maxwell Clubhouse. It needs to be submitted to our membership office PRIOR to the start of camp. We will not be able to administer medication without this authorization.  

All medications will be maintained with the child’s name in the administrative office.  Children are not allowed to keep and self-administer medication without supervision.

ALL members must be signed in and out by an authorized adult listed on their membership application. Members may not be present on Club grounds or participate in Club activities without being checked in. Therefore, members should NOT be dropped off prior to the opening of the facility, or be on Club property after checking out, as Club cannot be held responsible for their supervision.

Parking is not permitted in any red zone which includes the entirety of the round-about at the top of the stairs at our Maxwell Clubhouse. For the safety of all children in our care, cars left unattended in this area may be ticketed and towed.
