Welcome to Summer 2023!
Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is the largest provider of youth summer activities in Sonoma Valley. We are committed to providing our community with educational and enriching summer programming to help our youth improve academically and socially even during these unprecedented times. We are excited to offer some really fun and educational ways to continue to grow, all while keeping safety a priority.
We are so excited to have you join us this summer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley! As stated in a few publications we are proud to let you know we will be partnering with Sonoma Valley Unified School District to bring our amazing camps to even more students this summer. But wait, it gets even better…due to CA State ELOP (Extended Learning Opportunity Program) funding SVUSD received families that qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch (and a few other qualifications) will be able to join our DAY CAMPS at both El Verano Elementary (Grades K-2) & our Maxwell Clubhouse (Grades 3-6) FREE OF CHARGE!*
NOTE: K-2 Day Camp has been moved from Prestwood Elementary to El Verano Elementary. Middle School Day Camp has been moved from Adele Harrison Middle School to Flowery Elementary.
How do I know if I qualify?
Families that qualify will receive an invitation letter from SVUSD via email soon, once you receive that letter all you have to do is upload it in the “Forms” section of your online Parent Dashboard. In the meantime, please make your account and enroll your child(ren) in camps and checkout using the “Pay Deposit” method. Once we receive your letter we will go into your account and zero out the Day Camp fees.
What if I do not receive an invitation letter, but still require a scholarship?
Money will never be a reason members are not able to attend Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley programs. In the same “Forms” section of the Parent Dashboard you can download, fill out and upload our Scholarship Application. Once you do so, our Membership Coordinator Erika Reyes will reach out to you to go over options.
What about Specialty Camps?
Currently, the invitation letter from SVUSD will only cover Day Camps, with that said ALL camps are eligible for scholarships, you would just need to follow the same steps outlined above.
This is a new process for all of us, so please bear with us as we make it happen for the youth of the Valley. Please make sure to follow us on social media and keep track of your emails in case anything changes.
